The master designer turned to the 70s for inspiration -- his idol, the great Mick Jagger and the women in his life though the 70s. Photographer Hitesh Harisinghani looks wide-eyed!
Trust Narendra Kumar to deliver something out of the blue!
The star designer's latest collection was inspired by Maroon 5's hit number Moves Like Jagger.
Needless to say, the line paid tribute to the style of the legendary Mick Jagger, frontman for The Rolling Stones.

So you had the male models walking the ramp wearing wigs and clothes that seemed to be straight out of the 70s!
Needless to say, the line was a step beyond funky with colours that would probably test the sartorial daring of men.
Would you, for instance, wear what Nibu Joseph models?
The line wasn't restricted to menswear.
The women's line was inspired by the style of Bianka Jagger and Jerry Hall, the women who were in Jagger's life through the '70s.
Leopard prints made an appearance on the ramp for perhaps the first time this season; Kavita Kharayat walks the ramp in a leopard print outfit.
The line explored the 'super slim' fit.
Siddharth Rawal walks the ramp in a daring electric blue shirt (a kerchief to go with it) and a daring yellow jacket!
The collection used fabrics such as chino, cotton, velvet and wool.
Vivan Bhatena gets groovy on the ramp in one of Kumar's creations.
There are black dinner jackets.
And there are black dinner jackets. This, as you'd agree, is the latter!

The collection was nuanced with fine details like embroidery, button holes, colour blocking, link buttons etc.
Narendra Kumar, who was also the DJ for the show, walks the ramp, as groovy as the rest of the men, in a yellow jacket and takes a bow, well sort of!
