Which Indian cricketers need a style makeover, and who do you think is the most stylish of them all?

Quite a few Indian cricketers are very stylish and know what fashion is all about. Dhoni is one cricketer who I feel can carry most clothes off. He's also got a very good personality.

Which Indian cricketer needs a makeover?

I don't think any of them do. They are all very good with their own personality. Their personality is so strong that all of them keep their clothes very simple and all of them are very good.

Who are your style icons?

People who can carry their clothes off confidently, and whose personalies are stronger than their clothes.

John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu, and Shilpa Shetty are people I have worked with and are my style icons.

Can the aam aadmi also become a style icon?

Yes. I think it is the confidence that is required. You can wear a pair of jeans and white shirt, but the confidence and the personality that comes across is what style is all about.

What are some of the fashion mistakes that women make?

I think sometimes they follow fashion too blindly, and try to ape what is on the runway. Sometimes you need to understand that some things don't look good on you. You just have to make your personality stronger; pick up things from the runway and add it to your personality.

Does the sari need saving?

Sari is amazing. It can never die.

Which celebrity carries it the best?

I think quite a few have amazing bodies but when it comes to a sari I can think of only Sri Devi.

Can you share summer fashion trends and tips?

Keep it cool, and keep it clean. Your make up should be clean. Linen, block colours, and hair accessories are going very big this season.

Young designers you need to watch out for?

Masaba Gupta and Nishka (Lulla) are the two designers I can think of right now.

What do you think should Indian men NOT wear?

Body hugging tee-shirts.

What should Indian women NOT wear?

Things that make them look fat.

Which celebrity would you like to dress up?

Julia Roberts.

Do you throw tantrums when things go wrong for you?

Well, I am a star myself. Everybody is a star, and everybody has the right to throw tantrums. If it is justified, then it is OK to throw a tantrum.

How do you handle a bad hair day?

Use lots of products, or wash it off.
