Here's a glimpse from the showings at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week on days Three and Four.

Wedding season is upon us and to set the tone, top designers presented a vast array of trousseaus at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week, which concluded in Mumbai yesterday.

We bring you a look at some of the best offerings by designers Monapali, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Shantanu and Nikhil, Abhishek Dutta and Riyaz Gangji -- and their celebrity showstoppers!

Mona Lamba and Pali Sachdev's label Monapali juxtaposed nature and fashion to create an array of attractive enthnicwear, like this green and maroon toned drape embellished with embroidery and netted pallav.

Sassy in red

A model pouts for the cameras in an alluring red and orange ghagra choli.

Fusion funk

The designers went for Westernised crossover detailing with this blouse, while the ghagra is more on the traditional side.

Velvet touch

Sanea Shaikh struts her stuff in another bridal beauty with touches of luxurious red velvet.

Piece de resistance

Intricate threadwork and a sweetheart neckline define this number, the showstopping outfit from the collection.

Veterans take to the ramp

Mona Lamba and Pali Sachdev step out alongside their best ensemble as the crowd applauds.

Starry first

Actress Prachi Desai opened the show for Falguni and Shane Peacock's Victorian line, in a glimmering sari with sparkling border.

Futuristic fantasy

Heavily encrusted with sequins, a champagne-gold lehenga is teamed with a shining jacket with exaggerated shoulders.

Ruffles in the pink

Switching to a lighter palette, the designers offer up a gown with corset bodice and ruffles from waist to ankles -- very fluffy indeed!

Of antlers and elegance

Model Sania sports an antler headpiece and shows off a tiny corset choli, along with rich sequinned lehenga.

Sizzling style

Neha Dhupia takes the plunge in the showstopper -- a low-cut, bright red and heavy gold number.

Quite a threesome

Falguni and Shane escort Neha back onto the ramp to mark the end of their display.

'The Enchanted'

Brothers Shantanu and Nikhil created an opulent bridal collection called 'The Enchanted' to showcase unabashed luxury garments.

First on the ramp was this flouncing crimson ballgown, with ethnic motif on the bodice.

Royal blue

Colour schemes then shifted to muted but royal blues, like this one-sided ensemble, which starts off with velour and ends in a ghagara-like skirt.

Classy cutwork

Orange and gold play hide and seek on this floor-skimming outfit, which shows off rich gold cutwork and sequinned corset bodice.

Dapper dude

The duo also had a few choice outfits in store for the men -- Freddy Daruwala models a close-necked jacket and sheen-tinged pants.

Purple passion

We see another undulating gown with velour and sheers mixing with lavender and purple to create a pastel fantasy.

Fab foursome

Shantanu and Nikhil also opted for male showstoppers -- they are seen here with sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan's sons Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash.

Vintage appeal

The inspiration behind Abhishek Dutta's 'The Wedding Day' collection was his grandmother's bridalwear. Vintage Bengali touches dazzled on the runway, as can be seen from this sari-jacket combo.

Traditional tempo

The designer also had menswear to offer, like this chrome-tinged jacket worn over a lungi.

Floral charm

Alesia Raut looked stunning in a blue-flowered drape with halterneck choli.

Earthy affair

The softness of this gently undulating skirt with Indian motif was toughened up with a collared blouse and topped off with a warm-toned dupatta.

Daring to bare

Actress Nargis Bagheri showed off her toned bod in this striking white and red number.

Dutta steps out alongside Nargis to mark the close of his show.

Hitting the right note

Riyaz Gangji opened his trendy line of bridalwear for label Libas with a bang -- singer Raageshwari dazzled in this glittering red and white lehenga.

Next we have this purple shimmering drape with gold border.

Demure damsel

Departing from the traditional bright hues, the designer also showcased pale pastels that showed off stunning embroidery.

Yesteryears bombshell Zeenat Aman proved she's as stunning as ever in showstopper Number Two.
