Last week, The Sun conducted a poll among its readers to determine which stars sport the worst body art. Here are the results!
Aside from the fact that tattoos are painful and permanent, they can also lose their charm (and relevance) as time passes.
But of course, there are those who are addictedto this form of body art, and there are several famous personalities among them -- stars who've acquired a massive number of tattoos and show no sign of stopping.
Unfortunately for the celebs in the following pages, however, they seem to be the only ones who seem to think their various designs are attractive.
British publication The Sun had more than 12,500 readers vote for famous personalities with the worst tattoos -- here's the final list!
1. Cheryl Cole
The British singer took the top spot and it's hardly surprising -- 22 per cent of readers dislike her numerous designs, particularly the one on her back.
The pop sensation has been getting himself inked ever since he turned 16 and has about 15 various designs at present, particularly on his arms. Eighteen per cent of those polled found them a turn-off, landing him in second spot.
There's hardly a clear patch of skin left on this tattoo enthusiast! To go with his tough rapper image, Lil Wayne has plastered his torso and limbs with various designs and even has some of his face, including (yikes!) an eyelid. He comes in at three, with 16 per cent voting against his extreme body art.
Star of the American TV series and movie franchise Jackass, most of Steve-O's tats are less art and more scribbles -- by a five-year-old, it would seem. No wonder 11 per cent voted him to fourth position.
The British glamour model-turned-bodybuilder, who has a 'sleeve' inked all the way down one arm, not to mention several other random tattoos, reeled in seven per cent of negative votes.
The Blink-182 drummer doesn't need to wear upper garments -- his body art extends from the neck down, including both arms and the length of his torso. Barker comes in at six with six per cent.
We understand that getting inked goes with the boxing legend's image, but really -- one on your face? Tyson tied in with Barker at sixth, with six per cent of the votes.
To go with his bad boy image, Brown has tattoo sleeves down both arms and even across his chest. Not a pretty sight -- at least not according to four per cent of the Sun's respondents.
Brown's ex is hot on his heels in the list with her own extensive inkings. From a trail of stars down the nape of her neck, to the mythical Greek goddess Isis below her breasts, none of RiRi's tattoos impressed readers -- she came in eighth with three per cent of the votes.
Joining the Barbadian singer at eight is the retired English footballer. Another 'sleeve' afficionado, Beckham has prominent inkings dedicated to wife Victoria (in Hindi no less) and his four children.
The aging American actor, known for his 'bad guy' roles, has several tattoos on his arms and chest, which were voted the ninth-worst with two per cent of the votes.
And finally, in tenth place there were three contenders with one per cent of the votes each, starting with Liverpool defender and Slovakia football captain Skrtel -- who, may we mention, looks intimidating enough without them!
The only thing worse than this retired basketball player's OTT tats is his penchant for setting them off with makeup and cross-dressing!
The semi-retired wrestler and actor rounds off the trio at 10 -- although he has the body to carry them off and hasn't overdone them, one per cent of readers were put off by The Rock's tattoos.
