Over the last few days, we brought you all 89 contestants vying for the Miss Universe 2011 crown and you voted for your favourites (take a look at all the lovely ladies in this series: Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV).

Here are the results! We bring you the top 12 -- please note that they are not in order of popularity, but arranged alphabetically.

Miss Argentina

Natalie Rodriquez, 25 of Buenos Aires struck readers as one of the sexiest in her black sequinned two-piece.

Miss Brazil

Miss Dominican Republic

Twenty one-year-old Dalia Fernandez did the Dominican Republic proud.

Maybe it's a case of favourites, but who can be blamed for cheering on their own country? Our Hyderabad beauty Vasuki Sunkavalli, 27, also landed a lot of votes.

Miss Israel

Israeli Kim Edry, 19, also managed to make quite a mark.

Miss Italy

Elisa Torrini, 22, made quite a splash in her cut-away one-piece.

Miss Puerto Rico

Pretty girl from Puerto Rico Viviana Ortiz, 24, won us over with her brunette sensuality.

Miss Russia

Twenty-year-old Russian ravisher Natalia Gantimurova won everyone over with her sweet smile and sultry figure.

Miss Turkey

Curly-haired Melisa Asli Pamuk of Turkey (20) scored well with her fresh-faced appeal.

Miss Venezuela

And finally, rounding off the top 12 we have cat-eyed Venezuelan hottie Vanessa Goncalves, 25, whose looks could leave you melting!
