Here's a first look at the Indian beauties who will represent India at the Miss Universe 2011, Miss Globe International and Miss Asia Pacific pageants later this year.
Hyderabad girl Vasuki Sunkavalli beat out the competition to claim the 'I Am She' crown and the title of Miss India-Universe on Friday night (July 15).
The leggy looker, 26, is currently based out of Delhi, where she has been studying and modelling for the past two years. She has participated in fashion weeks and also endorsed brands like Nike, KitKat, the Gold Council etc. Vasuki will now represent India at the Miss Universe 2011 international pageant to be held in Brazil on September 12.
"In this competition, I met a lot of people from different parts of the country and from different professions. That was very interesting. I am very confident, hopeful and determined that I will bring the crown back. I will give it my best," Vasuki was quoted as saying after her win.
First runner-up in the I Am She pageant was 23-year-old fashion designer from Bhopal Parul Duggal and second runner-up was Mysore girl Tanvi Singla, 19.

Like other contestants, Vasuki trained for the pageant with experts that included choreographer Lubna Adams, fashion expert Rajat Tangri and dance professionals Sandip Soparrkar and Jesse Randhawa. Ex-Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, whose production company Tantra Entertainment organises the I Am She pageant each year also mentors the girls.
The 5'8" tall Telugu lass stated before the competition that she had "confidence in my stride, my body and my mind and this confidence comes from the fact that I am secure."
Well, her security and dazzling looks certainly paid off with a money prize of Rs 2,00,000 and a shot at international stardom!
Parul Duggal from Bhopal has been modelling for only a year and already she's making waves.
At 5'9", she was a state-level basketball player and has also won several swimming meets. Her hobbies include surfing, sketching and travelling.
Parul has now taken up fashion designing, but it looks like she's more than qualified to model her own creations!
Besides prize money of Rs 1,00,000 as first runner-up in the I Am She pageant, she has also won the chance to compete for the Globe International 2011 title this year.
Tanvi Singla is still a teenager, but she proved her prowess too, securing the place of second runner-up.
Standing at 5'7", she has been modelling for the past two years and has catwalked for designers like Manish Arora, Rohit Bal, Rocky S and Manish Malhotra. Tanvi says she enjoys dancing, interacting with people, spending time with dogs and cooking for loved ones.
Like Parul, she also won a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 and will participate in the Miss Asia Pacific 2011 pageant later in the year.
