Welcome to the weekly fashion round-up, where we bring you the latest on supermodels, style, designers and everything in-between!

Who's the latest face of Dior? Which supermodel entered a new power list this week? Which sexy singer is swearing never to undergo cosmetic surgery and which one is rumoured to have gotten her assets enhanced? Here's the lowdown on the latest fashion news!

India's Nicole Faria wins Miss Earth 2010!

India's Nicole Faria was crowned Miss Earth Talent 2010 on December 4, after beating 17 other contestants at a talent competition in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Faria, a 20-year-old model from Bangalore, won the title at the talent show with a scintillating belly dance that combines Oriental and Middle Eastern style.

"We are ecstatic and overjoyed, although we expected it," Faria's father Ian said in Bangalore.

The event raised 100 million Vietnamese Dong, which will be transferred to the local Red Cross to support flood victims in the central region of Vietnam.

Vietnam's representative Luu Thi Diem Huong was voted among top five contestants with her performance of folk dances that are inspired by traditional dances in the northern, central and southern region of the country.

The Israeli-American actress has been named as the new face of Parfums Christian Dior.

It's the first time the 28-year-old actress has represented a fragrance and cosmetics brand, Women's Wear Daily reported.

Apart from Portman, star other celebrities endorsing the fashion house in advertisements include Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Monica Bellucci, Jude Law and Alain Delon.

The Closer star has constantly maintained that she couldn't handle any other job than being an actress, except maybe working as a bike messenger.

"I can make chitchat, but not much else," she told Interview magazine. "I'd basically have trouble with any job that doesn't require me to wear silly clothes and talk in funny voices."

Alexandra Burke: I would never have plastic surgery

Singer Alexandra Burke is adamant she would never resort to surgery to enlarge her assets.

The Hallelujah hitmaker admits she battled with body image issues when she was younger, but she's grown in confidence after learning how to dress to accentuate her curves.

The singer refuses to go under the knife to enhance her chest, insisting a good padded bra gives her all the boost she needs.

"I never used to be comfortable in my own skin...I have long feet and a short body. But I appreciate now that I'm smaller on the top. That's why I wear padded bras!" the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

"I would never have plastic surgery. Why ruin what you've been given? You don't need Botox and everything. Everyone is individual; there is no one out there the same. Why change that uniqueness about you?"

"I did a photoshoot once where they airbrushed my thighs to make them look stick thin and I was like, "Give me my thighs and my bum back because that's what I have!" I've just been signed to a model agency, and if me and my 5'3" self can do that, anyone can," she said.

Angelina Jolie is all set to go bling with a new jewellery collection.

The actress will collaborate with former Asprey CEO Robert Procop to launch a collection of 'statement stones', with all proceeds from the sales benefiting the actress' charity 'The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict', reports the Telegraph.

She has worn several pieces created by Procop over the past decade, including the striking black and rose gold necklace she wore to the Berlin premiere of her film Salt last summer, and a vintage diamond choker in her latest flick The Tourist.

"Angelina has very classic style. These are the pieces she wears herself," Procop told WWD.

So if you are wondering where to buy a piece of Jolie's designs, here is the bad news: It will be sold privately through Procop's network of clients.

The pricey pieces from the collection reportedly include a pale green 353-carat pendant and a tablet-shaped 12.02-carat emerald ring set in rose gold.

This is the second time Jolie has collaborated on a jewellery line, after she and her partner Brad Pitt designed a capsule collection for Asprey last year, the proceeds of which also went to her charity.

Was Padma's skin lightened on her new mag cover?

Photographs: Cover of TV Guide Magazine

TV Guide magazine has taken a stance against claims that they lightened Padma Lakshmi's skin tone on its latest cover.

After the December 6 issue of the television-themed magazine hit newsstands Thursday, PopEater.com posted a story suggesting the Indian-American Top Chef host's skin colour was digitally altered.

However, in a statement given on Friday morning, TV Guide insisted Lakshmi, 40, wasn't retouched.

"If her skin appears lighter, it's because we shot her in a brightly lit diner as part of the cover concept. We did our normal colour correcting, which is standard for printing," the New York Daily News quoted the statement.

"Padma's skin tone is beautiful, and we did nothing to adjust it," it added.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi didn't seem fazed by the website's claims, at least on Twitter.

"Many thx to TVGuide for a great and gorgeous cover. Delightful team, and a really fun and easy shoot," she tweeted Thursday.

Looking to spice up your sex life? Or are you just simply bored of regular, lacy lingerie? If so, go shopping this season for bondage-style underwear.

With bras, knickers, playsuits and even braces selling out at Selfridges in the UK and online, S and M chic appears to have attracted the mainstream consumer.

Sales of British designer Nichole de Carle's 'Onyx' collection are up by 50 per cent this week -- the designer's 220-pound 'Dream Catcher' stretch silk bondage bra and coordinating briefs with play braces (85 pounds) have virtually sold out, as customers fight for a piece of the erotic look made famous by celebrities including Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

The department store has also launched its most daring and exclusive lingerie collection, 'Kinbaku' (meaning bondage in Japanese) by French designer Maxine Wattam.

The collection will retail from 1,000 pounds for a jewel bra and knickers set, to 3,000 pounds for a rose gold jewellery set.

"This winter S and M has gone couture," the Daily Mail quoted Helen Attwood, Selfridges' Head Buyer for Lingerie, as saying.

"Gone are the days of bondage lingerie looking more back-street than Bond Street. To keep up with demand for lingerie with serious edge, we're about to launch our most expensive erotica yet," she added.

"Sales of the sexiest designs of lingerie are already up 50 per cent and we predict that this Christmas won't be white. It'll be black silk with a leather trim."

Australian model Lara Bingle has taken to Twitter to vent about being "spat out" by Speedo, her major sponsor.

In a series of posts, the struggling swimwear model was reacting to weekend reports that her career was over.

"People think your success is just a matter of having a pretty face. But it's easy to be chewed up and spat out," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as tweeting.

"What people say isn't going to stop me. I have to do things for myself. You've got to stay ahead of the game to be able to stay in it," she said.

While Bingle remains on contract with Speedo, the iconic Aussie label have signed Miss Australia-Universe 2009, Rachael Finch as their leading ambassador.

Did Christina Aguilera get breast implants?

While crooner Alexandra Burke says she'll never resort to cosmetic surgery, popstar Christina Aguilera has once again sparked rumours of going under the knife.

A scar under her arm was apparently spotted when she waved to her fans a press conference for her new film Burlesque in Tokyo, reports the Daily Mail.

The small line could be the result of a transaxillary endoscopic breast augmentation -- a breast enlargement technique where implants are placed through an armpit incision.

Experts said the popular method usually leaves an inch-long scar and is the preferred option for patients who want to avoid scars on the breast.

Aguilera's decolletage has certainly increased over the years, which could also be the result of carrying more weight.

Her new flick is a song-and-dance extravaganza about a small-town girl trying to make it big.

Here's how to wear jeggings if you're curvy and short

Always feel tempted to wear those jeggings -- the marriage of denim and leggings -- but don't know how good they would look on your curvy and short body? Well, set aside all your inhibitions as an expert tells you the right way to wear them.

Carlota Espinoza, fashion expert from HauteLook, suggested the following ways in which you can sport them, reports the New York Daily News.

If you're short: Wear them with platform heels. Those few inches really elongate the legs.

If you're curvy: The most flattering way for curvy girls to rock them is by wearing a flowy tunic top that floats away from the body. Consider belting the tunic at your waist to create an hourglass shape.

"Jeggings can really be worn by any body type, since the stretchy fabric is wonderfully forgiving," said Espinoza.

For winter: Jeggings always look trendy when paired with a chic, tall boot. Or try a small-heeled bootie in a more wintry fabric, like suede, for evening.

"I love the wedge versions right now, which are comfortable and stylish for walking around the city," she said.

Moreover, she added that jeggings are meant to be form-fitting but not so tight that one is unable to sit without busting a seam.

Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise has been raiding wife Katie Holmes' beauty and make-up supplies in a bid to remain looking youthful.

"Tom is in major midlife crisis mode," the Daily Telegraph quoted a source as telling American tabloid the National Enquirer.

"He's freaking out over the new lines on his face, the grey hairs on his head and on his face when he shaves."

"He has started applying Katie's high-priced facial creams, cleansers and even her make-up -- and he loves the results!"

"He even slathers on Katie's foundation before public events and lightly applies her mascara to make his eyelashes look fuller."

"Tom is incredibly vain, and he's willing to go to great lengths to look good next to his younger co-stars."

"Katie is horrified that Tom has resorted to raiding her beauty supplies," the source added.
