After their official tour of Canada, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Los Angeles to attend the 2011 BAFTA Brits To Watch Event. Here's a look at the Hollywood royalty who turned up to welcome them!
It's usually the adoring public that's falling all over these celebrated actors and actresses.
But on Saturday night, the A-listers of tinseltown were reduced to a bunch of excited fans as they welcomed Prince William and Kate Middleton at the 2011 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Brits To Watch Event.
The young royal couple were the centre of attention as the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman and Tom Hanks vied to spend some quality time with the two.
Wills is the president of BAFTA and together with his lovely new wife, he made a glamorous entrance to the do in a black tux. The Duchess was glowing (as usual!) in a lavender gown by Alexander McQueen and proved that skinshow is unnecessary to stand out on the red carpet -- in fact, that's probably why she stood out!
Obviously, curvy JLo doesn't share Kate's reservations! The mother-of-two put her killer bod on display in this figure-hugging emerald green cut-away.
The statuesque Nicole dazzled in this silver spangled Elie Saab gown with matching clutch and sandals.
Like the Duchess, 23-year-old actress Blake Lively also chose lavender for the event -- who do you think looked prettier? Tough call!
Comedian Jack Black attended with his wife Tanya Haden -- wonder if he cracked any royal jokes or was on his best behaviour!
Former professional tennis player Anna Kournikova was the quintessential blonde bombshell in a one-sided teal blue affair.
Hmmm. Certainly looks like most of the ladies were flying solo that night! Jennifer Garner opted for a royal blue satin number that suited her to the tee.
Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson were invited, of course -- they were also present at a Buckingham Palace state banquet held by the Queen in honour of President Obama earlier this year so they're likely on friendly terms with Wills and Kate.
British TV presenter and actress Cat was thrilled to meet the royals too and donned a chic powder blue dress for the occasion.
And finally, singer-actress Barbara Streisand and hubby James Brolin were at the BAFTAs too, but the diva refused to walk the red carpet like the other celebs present. Perhaps she was showing Kate how royal airs should be put on!
