Sony Mobiles and BlackBerry lead the pack and have reduced the price of five smartphones each.
Most of us keep a tab on handset prices while delaying our buying decision to buy at the right time to save some bucks.
Here we have compiled a list of such smartphones and tablets that are available in Indian market and have seen a drop in their prices by a minimum Rs 500 in month of August.
The list includes 21 smartphones and two tablets.
Sony Mobiles and BlackBerry lead the pack with five smartphones each, whereas Samsung and HTC's four and three devices respectively have seen a price drop. Apart from that Motorola and Huawei have reduced the price of their two devices each. LG, iBall and Spice have also reduced the price of one of their smartphones each.
Please note that the reduced price that we have taken into consideration is the average price available across different online stores and if you plan to buy one of these, do check in physical retail stores as there is a possibility that you might get some more discounts.

The Sony Ericsson Txt Pro is ideal for those who are busy chatting and messaging all the time, thanks to its slider Qwerty keypad.
The phone comes with 3-inch capacitive touchscreen (400 x 240 pixels), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP and 3.5mm audio jack.
