Leading online retailers have confirmed that they will start selling the much-awaited phone by April 25 at an approximate starting pricing of Rs 39,000.
Samsung Galaxy S4 will soon be available in India. Samsung has already started training marketing staff of large retailers for the launch.
Leading retailers of mobile phones have confirmed to The Mobile Indian that they expect the phone to be available by April 25. While none of them disclosed the exact price they hinted at approximately Rs 39,000.
Galaxy S4 will have an eight core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5410 mobile processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and will feature the new PowerVR SGX544MP3 graphics chip.
Samsung will pack 2 GB RAM and offer three on-board storage options -- 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB.

The new Galaxy S4 features a 5 inch full HD Super Amoled display built using Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. Galaxy S4 is just 7.9 mm thick and it is still slimmer than the 8.6 mm thick Galaxy S III.
In terms of weight the Galaxy S4 measures 130 grams compared to the Galaxy S III weighing 133 grams.

At the back Samsung has used a 13 megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus and zero shutter lag. This camera is capable of recording full HD videos and clicking high quality images.
There is also a front facing camera capable of clicking high quality self-portraits and video. Samsung has introduced the new dual shot feature that allows the phone to record video and click images, as well as click two images at the same time using both cameras.

For connectivity, apart from 3G network and high speed WiFi support, the phone also supports LTE but it will be switched off in the Indian version. Samsung has also added Bluetooth 4.0 LE and infrared LED for remote control.

For longer run time, Samsung has packed a 2600 mAh battery and will also offer an extra battery kit as part of accessories. By default, the company has added an inductive charging chip on the back panel cover so the phone can be charged wirelessly without using an additional cover.
