Nokia is set to release Windows Phone 8 based Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 smartphones in India on October 23, sources familiar with the development told The Mobile Indian.
Nokia had announced Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 in September but so far these are made available for Russia only with pre-order prices in terms of rupee being Rs 20,000 for Lumia 820 and Rs 43,000 for the other one.

The pricing will be the key to the success of Nokia's new lineup. Samsung Galaxy SIII, which by far the most powerful and popular phone, is retailing for Rs 34,000. Thus Nokia will need to price the Lumia 920 at least competitive to that.
The Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system in the two Nokia phones will take the native and basic code from the Windows 8 PC operating system for easy integration and seamless synchronisation of apps as well as other services.

Nokia Lumia 920 comes with a 4.5-inch ClearBlack IPS LCD panel with 1280x768 pixel resolution support and super-sensitive touch. Infact, the touchscreen can be used even with the gloves on.
