Nokia's Pureview was probably the most talked about new launch of June and the sole reason for that was the whopping 41 megapixel camera that this smartphone comes with.
The phone was result of two years of hard work from Nokia and Carl Zeiss. The phone's camera is coupled with a Xenon flash and comes with camera like f/2.8 aperture and promises to capture 7728x5354 resolution images in 16:9 formats along with full HD videos in 30 frames per second. By far this is the maximum ever number of megapixels or resolution ever to be supported by any smartphone.
Other than that the phone gets good but nothing outstanding specifications including a single-core 1.3 GHz mobile processor along with 512 MB RAM. It is based on the Nokia Belle operating system and comes with 16 GB on-board storage with support up to 64 GB micro SD card.
Nokia 808 PureView features a 4-inch Amoled clear black display with 640x360 pixel resolution and has been built using corning gorilla glass technology for more strength.
The phone is priced at Rs 32,000.

HTC India introduced a new mid-range smartphone -- Desire C with Beats Audio technology. The new HTC Desire C has a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and is powered by 600 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor. Running the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0 User Interface, the Desire C smartphone is available for Rs 14,999.
Flaunting a metallic frame the HTC Desire C measures 12.5 mm and weighs mere 100 grams. Appearing as a stubby version of the current HTC One S or One X, it has used 480x320 pixel resolution support which adds up to its con.
Under the hood, this smartphone runs Sense 4.0 user interface layered on top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. At the back lies a 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash and geo-tagging support. There is no secondary camera in the front.

HTC, also brought its first dual SIM smartphone last month in the form of the HTC Desire V.
The phone is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) mode based Android smartphone. The Desire V supports 3G on the primary SIM slot, while the secondary one supports EDGE and GPRS connectivity. The HTC Desire V sports a 4-inch WVGA resolution based display running 1GHz Cortex-A5 processor coupled with Adreno 200 graphics and a 512 MB of RAM.
The smartphone features a 5 megapixel, primary autofocus camera with LED flash and VGA recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 4 GB storage and a 32 GB expandable memory.
The device features Android's latest operating system, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is accented with HTC's latest Sense 4.0 user interface. The device also has Beats Audio enhancements for superior music quality and sound.
The phone is priced at Rs 21,000.

HTC completed the troika of One series with the launched One S in the Indian market priced at Rs 33,500. The phone comes with a 4.3-inch Amoled display which has a 540x960 resolution. It weighs just 119.5 grams.
The One S comes with Android 4.0 operating system with HTC Sense 4 user interface. It has 16 GB internal memory storage with 1 GB RAM. Additionally, HTC is offering 25 GB of Dropbox (cloud) storage for two years.
Like One X, it comes with 3.5 mm jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, DLNA, and a USB port for connectivity. There is an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED Flash in One S. The rear camera is capable of capturing 1080 pixel based true HD videos. There is a front VGA camera too for video chats.

LG launched the successor of the famous Optimus 3D with 3D Max. LG Optimus 3D Max is Android 2.3-based smartphone with a 4.3-inch screen with WVGA resolution and Nova display. It is powered by 1.2 Ghz OMAP4430 processor and has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, two 5 megapixel cameras, and a 1,520 mAh battery.
LG has also customised some of the software on the phone to take complete advantage of the glasses-less 3D capability. The 3D Converter takes 2D content of any available media (videos, pictures, games) and converts them to 3D for your viewing pleasure. A 3D video editor is also included, allowing you to edit your video footage in 3D in real-time, and a 3D Hot Key allows you to quickly switch between 2D and 3D views.

LG also launched its new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running smartphone Optimus L7, which is the flagship phone of its L series of phones.
The LG Optimus L7 has a 4.3-inch display that supports WVGA (480x800) pixel resolution and comes with a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash at the back and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
With mere 8.7 mm slim body, the LG Optimus L7 houses a single-core 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor. It comes loaded with 1 GB RAM and offers 4 GB onboard storage. It would also be the first device to feature LG's Optimus UI 3.0.

Samsung which had launched its flagship Galaxy SIII in May, chose to concentrate on the marketing of SIII and did not go for any big launches. However it did make available the all GSM version of its mid level Dual SIM Android phone the Galaxy Ace Duos.
A GSM+CDMA version was already available and the new GSM+GSM version was what was added. The phone priced at Rs 15,090 has similar hardware compared to what was available in the earlier version.
The Ace Duos has an 832 MHz processor and HSDPA 7.2 Mbps & Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity. Besides, it has a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, 8.9 cm HVGA screen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and a 3 GB internal memory.

The Enlighten tablet is priced at Rs 16,999 for the Android 2.3 version called Enlighten, and offers content worth Rs 20,000 free stored in a 16GB card. The tablet has a front facing VGA Camera for Video Calling and works on a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 Processor, 512 MB RAM.

The Wicked leak 3G Wammy Plus is an Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) based 3G tablet launched for the Indian market carrying a price tag of Rs 11,499.
The Wammy Plus is a 7-inch display based tablet featuring a 7-inch 800 x 480 pixel resolution display with integrated 3G calling capabilities, so users can use any SIM to connect to cellular network. It is powered by 1 GHz process#8744 512 MB RAM and features 4 GB internal memory. The storage capacity can be expanded via a slot provided for a 32GB micro SD card.
It has a 3000 mAh battery under the hood and in terms of connectivity, Wi-Fi and 3G. Wammy Plus has a VGA front and rear camera along with HDMI port which will allows content playback on HDTV as well.

iBall had announced the Slide tablet back in the month of May following that iBall announced the launch of the Slide 3G tablet. The iBall Slide 3G tablet comes with full cellular support with the use of GSM SIM.
The tablet has a 7-inch screen with an 800 x 480 resolution and according to the company it can play 1080P HD videos as well. This tablet houses a 1 GHz processor and comes preloaded with Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
The iBall Slide 3G has a HDMI port for connecting it to an HDTV too. The tablet features dual stereo speakers, and 8 GB of internal storage, extendable up to 32 GB. The Slide 3G comes with a 4400 mAh battery while the Slide 3G is priced at Rs 16,499 for the Indian Market.
