Cold Sesame Noodles
Ingredients
- 2-3 tbsp butter
- 2-3 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 2-3 tbsp soya sauce
- 2-3 tbsp sesame seed
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup coconut or almond milk
- Oil for stir frying
- Boiled noodles
- Any leftover meat or boiled vegetable from the fridge (optional)
Method
- Melt butter in a pan and add vinegar, soya sauce, honey and coconut milk.
- Add half a cup of water and put on low flame.
- Stir well for a few minutes, bring it to a boil and keep it aside.
- In a pan add a little oil and roast the sesame seeds. Keep aside
- Add boiled noodles to the coconut milk mixture. Cook on a low flame so that it takes in all the flavour.
- Add the meat/ vegetable, if any, and stir for a few minutes.
- Remove from the flame. Add the roasted sesame seeds.
- Wrap the bowl with an aluminium foil and refrigerate it.
- Take it out when the game kicks off and then dig in!

Fried Sausage and Pepper

Ingredients
- 1/2 red pepper cut into strips
- 1/2 green pepper cut into strips
- 1 packet of cocktail sausages
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil (or any other vegetable oil)
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp salt
Method
- In a flat-bottomed pan, heat oil, add salt, oregano, tomato sauce, onion and garlic.
- Keep the flame at minimum.
- Stir till the onions are tender.
- Add the pepper strips. Stir well
- Add the sausages.
- Once the sausages begin to turn brownish, remove pan from flame.
- Relish them hot while you enjoy the match

Vegetable Wrap

Ingredients
- Leftover chapatis (Indian flat bread)
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 chopped tomato
- 1 chopped cucumber
- 1 chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 2 tsp mustard powder
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
Method
- Wash the carrot and spinach and boil in a pan till they turn tender.
- Strain out the excess water.
- Add the chopped tomato and cucumber to the boiled carrot and spinach.
- In a bowl, add a little water to the mustard powder to make a paste.
- Add the paste to the vegetables.
- Add salt and pepper and mix well.
- Place a spoonful of this vegetable mixture in the centre of the chapati.
- Add a generous helping of the grated cheese.
- Roll up the chapati and enjoy the penalty kicks!

Scrambled Peas on Toast

Ingredients
- 1 cup green peas
- 4 to 5 eggs
- 7 to 8 slices of bread
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- Oil
Method
- Boil the peas in water with a pinch of salt.
- Strain out the water and mash using a fork.
- In a bowl crack the eggs.
- Add a little salt and pepper and whisk well.
- In a pan heat some oil and pour the egg slowly while stirring constantly so that they get scrambled.
- Lower the flame and add the mashed peas.
- Stir for half a minute and remove from flame.
- Toast the bread slices.
- Top the toasted bread slices with the egg and pea mixture.
- Drizzle the above with olive oil if you wish.
- Enjoy while they're still warm.

Mini Cheese Burger

Ingredients
- 2-3 medium sized boiled potatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 4-5 tbsp of melted butter
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp mustard powder (add water to form a paste)
- 5-6 cheese cubes grated
- 5 mini burger buns
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- A pinch of oregano
Method
- Take the buns and slice each down the centre. Keep aside.
- Mash the boiled potatoes.
- Add the chopped onion, butter, cheese, salt, pepper and oregano. Mix well.
- Spread tomato sauce evenly on both insides of each bun.
- Add a dollop of the potato mixture on one side and smooth it out evenly.
- Cover it with the other half of the bun.
- Your mini cheese burger is ready!

Maggi Pizza

Ingredients
- 1 packet of Masala Maggi
- Pizza base (Get the thin crust base)
- 4-5 tbsp of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander
Method
- Boil the noodles and then add the masala.
- Let it cook to make it slightly soggy and let all the water dry up.
- Take the pizza base and cut it into triangular pieces.
- Spread tomato sauce on each piece.
- Add the maggi on each piece.
- Garnish it with grated cheese.
- Sprinkle chopped coriander.
- Put it into the microwave for less than a minute (just enough to let the cheese melt)
- Serve/ eat hot!

Peanut Papad and Mango Dip

Ingredients
- 5 to 6 papads
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 tomato
- 1 lemon juice
- 10-12 fresh coriander leaves
- 1/3 cup salted peanuts
- 1 ripe mango
- A pinch of chilli powder
- A pinch of salt
Method
- Take the papads and roast them in the microwave one at a time (one minute per papad should be enough)
- Chop the coriander, onion and tomato as finely as you can and put them in a bowl.
- Add salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Add salted peanuts.
- Cover and keep aside.
- Cut the mango and scoop out the pulp.
- Add a pinch of chilli powder and blend it to get the thick paste.
- pour it in a small bowl.
- On a plate, place the roasted papads and spread the peanut mixture over it.
- Enjoy the spicy papad with yummy mango dip.

Banana Chips and Cottage Cheese Dip

Ingredients
- 2 bananas (not fully ripe; choose the greenish yellow ones)
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup cream
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of pepper
Method
- Slice bananas into slightly thick pieces.
- In a pan, heat a little oil and fry the banana slices over very low heat.
- Remove from flame and keep aside.
- Take cottage cheese and cream and blend it into a smooth paste.
- Pour it in a bowl. Add salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Enjoy the crisp banana fries with the cottage cheese dip.
