Maharashtra SSC results 2012 on June 13

The results of the Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate examination will be announced on June 13 at 1 pm. Students can get their results on rediff.com and via SMS.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is likely to announce the results of the class 10 Senior Secondary Certificate examination on June 13.

While the official confirmation will be made on June 12, according to a report in the Hindustan Times, results of the SSC examination is expected to be available online on http://mahresult.nic.in/ on June 13 post 1 pm. The paper quoted the state education department minister Rajendra Darda as saying, "We are likely to give out the results on June 13 and our department is also expected to give the results in the online format the same day. We have put a timeline of three weeks for the entire procedure."

While MSBSHSE announced the results of last year's class 10 board examination on June 17, it plans to announce the results a little early this year to help students plan their admissions in advance. This year, even the HSC results were announced two days ahead of last year's announcement.

The education department also plans to release students' marksheets within three days of the declaration of the results online.

More than 13 lakh students appeared for the board examination in the state this year between March 1 and 28.

Students can also get their Maharashtra SSC class 10 results on rediff.com by visiting http://rediff.com/examsClick on the 'Select exam name' and select Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, PUNE -411004 S.S.C Examination, March 2012 and enter the seat number/Roll no in the dialogue box, and click on 'Get Result'.

Results can also be accessed via SMS on 13 June, 2012 after 1 pm. To get result on SMS, send MSSC  to 573335000.

The results will be released on sms by the following mobile phone operators:
Mumbai: Idea, Vodafone, Airtel.
Maharashtra and Goa: Idea, Vodafone, Airtel.
All Maharashtra: GSM reliance, CDMA Reliance, Tata Docomo,Tata Indicom, MTNL.
