The annual TiE Stree Shakti Awards felicitating promising women entrepreneurs in the country will commence on September 30. TiE Stree Shakti is also organising a two-day conference on 'entrepreneurship' between September 30 and October 1. For more information read on.

What

TiE Stree Shakti (TSS) is a pan-India initiative that aims to connect and enable enterprising women from different socio-economic strata and celebrate 'Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs in India'.

An annual initiative organised by TiE, the TiE Stree Shakti Awards are given to promising women entrepreneurs in the country who head micro, small, medium and emerging enterprises. 

The winners will be awarded with a prize of Rs 1 lakh each.

Eligible women entrepreneurs had to register themselves on the TiE website, following which winners will be shortlisted by an eminent panel of judges, comprising entrepreneurs and leader.

The event is also important for young female aspirants who look forward to be an entrepreneur as the TSS Conference will also feature an eminent list of speakers including Chanda Kochhar (ICICI Bank), SudhaMurthy (Infosys Foundation), Rama Bijapurkar, ShobnaBhartia (HT Media) Preetha Reddy (Apollo Hospitals), Farzana Haque (TCS), Rajshree Pathy (Rajshree Group), Julie Desai (Mehul Vakharia Associates), Swati Piramal and the like who will share their success stories followed by interactive sessions with members from the audience.
