What

The Symbiosis School Of Banking Management, Pune has invited applications for admission to MBA Banking Management programme.

The two year full time programme can lead to a career in finance. Admission is through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)

Who can apply?

Graduates with minimum 50 percent marks (45 percent for those belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) in the degree course and those in the final year of the degree course may apply.

What

The University of Lucknow has invited applications for admission to two year full time MBA programmes with specialisations in rural development and management, finance and control, corporate management, human resource and industrial relations, international business, marketing management science, retail management and agriculture.

Who can apply

Graduates with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate in the degree course are eligible for admission.

Those completing the degree course by June 30, 2012 are also eligible to apply.

Final selection will be made on the basis of the score in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2011) of the Indian Institutes of Management, followed by group discussion and interview.

What

Executive MBA (IPMX), the fifth, full time, one-year residential executive programme would be launched in April 2012 at the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow-NOIDA Campus.

The International Programme in Management for Executives, is designed for mid/senior level professionals, to prepare them for leadership roles.

A core component of the programme is an international module at one of our partner institutes located in U.S.A / Europe / East Asia which will provide students the opportunity for an international learning experience to equip them with the knowledge and perspective relevant to current global business issues.

Who can apply

Executives with Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or equivalent (10+2+3) can apply.

A minimum of 6 years full time post-qualification (after graduation) professional experience as of March 31, 2012 is required.

GMAT score obtained from July 01, 2008 to October, 31, 2011 will be considered.

How to apply

You will have to submit a duly filled-in application form along with statement of purpose (SOP), two letters of recommendation. Selection will be based on GMAT scores, Professional Experience and performance in Personal Interview.

BTech at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology

What

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has invited applications for its B.Tech programme in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.

Admissions to this programme are based on the admission test, ISAT, conducted by IIST. Assistance is provided to all BTech students to cover the cost of education, boarding, lodging and healthcare.

On successful completion of the course with prescribed academic standards, the students will be absorbed in ISRO as Scientists/Engineers.

Who can apply

Candidates must ensure they satisfy the following criteria for appearing in ISAT-2012: 

(Categories : GEN - General, OBC - Other Backward Class, SC - Scheduled Caste, ST - Scheduled Tribe, PD- Physically Disabled)

Citizenship: The candidate has to be an Indian citizen to apply for ISAT-2012.

Date of Birth: Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories should be born on or after October 1, 1987, while those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories should be born on or after October 1, 1982.

Minimum Percentage of Marks in Class X or equivalent examination: Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must have secured at least 70% marks in aggregate in their Class X or equivalent examination, while those belonging to SC,ST and PD categories must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate in their Class X or equivalent examination.

Minimum Percentage of Marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination: Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure at least 70% marks in the aggregate in their Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) papers in their Qualifying Examination (QE), while those belonging to SC,ST and PD categories must secure at least 60% marks in the aggregate in their PCM papers in their QE.

Year of first appearance for final Qualifying Examination (QE) should be 2011 or 2012.

Year of attaining the required percentage of mark in QE should be 2011 or 2012 (For candidates appearing in 2012, results should be available on or before July 1, 2012)
