MAHCET 2012 application process begins, exam on March 11

The last date for filling MAHCET applications is February 18, while the exam will be held on March 11, Sunday.

What

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has announced the dates for Maharashtra Common Entrance 2012.

While the applications commenced February 1, 2012 and will last till February 18, 2012, the biggest state level exam for the renowned B-schools of Maharashtra and the institutes under University of Mumbai and Pune University will be held on March 11, 2012, Sunday.

Who can apply

The candidate applying for MAH CET 2012 exam should obtain at least 50 per cent in aggregate in the Bachelor's degree under a recognised university or institute recognised by UGC or AICTE.

Candidates who have appeared for the final year exam are also eligible to apply.

The information brochure along with the application kit will be available at the select Axis Bank branches. The application fee of MAH CET 2012 is Rs 1150.

Important dates

Sale of the information brochure: February 1 to 18, 2012.

MAH CET 2012 exam: March 11, 2012, Sunday.

Declaration of results: April 16, 2012, Monday

Registration for Group Discussion and Personal Interview and receipt of call letter: April 19, 2012 to April 30, 2012

Group Discussion and Personal Interview: May 10, 2012 to May 31, 2012

Submission of work experience certificate: May 10, 2012 to May 21, 2012

Document verification, updation and confirmation of application form for admission at ARC for Maharashtra or OMS and J and K candidates: May 10, 2012 to May 31, 2012

Display of Provisional Merit List: June 16, 2012

Display of the final merit list: June 25, 2012
