ISB announces 40 scholarships worth Rs 2.5 crore

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has announced 40 Diversity Scholarships totalling Rs 2.5 crore for students of its incoming post graduate batch of students.

The Diversity Scholarships at ISB are a part of the school's total scholarship outlay of about eight crores, comprising both merit based and need based scholarships and will cover sectors like health care (this includes doctors), fashion, media, hospitality, social, government and is open to professionals from the field of technology, finance, manufacturing, marketing and sales.

Who can apply?

All the applicants who apply for the one year post graduation programme of the ISB are eligible for the award. Since this is a merit based scholarship there is no need to apply separately for the scholarships.

All applicants who are offered admission to the PG programme are automatically evaluated for eligibility for the award of the scholarships and if found meritorious will be awarded the scholarship. The admissions committee of the school will take the final decision on the award of the scholarship

Admissions to ISB are based on a comprehensive and holistic evaluation process. The parameters that are evaluated are: past academic record, GMAT scores, achievements both personal and professional, career growth and achievements, recommendations, essays etc.

In addition, all shortlisted candidates are interviewed and the views of panelists are also taken into account in evaluation a candidate.
