The annual educational survey conducted by outlook magazine along with leading market research agency Marketing and Development Research Associates (MDRA) has revealed a list of 75 top management institutions in the country.
This comprehensive top 75 list of institutes includes both government and private business schools.
The institutes were ranked on the following parameters -- selection process, personality development, academic excellence, infrastructure and facilities, placements etc.
The survey claims that only those b-schools that sent their objective data have been ranked.
Among the non-participants included institutes like IIM-Lucknow, Institute of Rural Management, Anand and Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (ranked 12 in the survey).
While IIM-Ahmedabad topped the overall list of management colleges and government colleges in India as always, XLRI-Jamshedpur was ranked the top position in the private schools category.

6. MDI Gurgaon

It was established in 1973 with the active support of Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI).
Spread over 37 acres of land, it is counted among the most prestigious management colleges in Northern India.
Among its resources include fully air-conditioned classrooms, well-equipped libraries, computer centres and recreational facilities for students.
MDI Gurgaon boasts of 75 faculty members, including national and international and has collaborations and tie ups with various international institutes of education as well.

7. IIM-Kozhikode
