Hyosung ST7

Recently launched superbikes GT650R and ST7 are not likely to take Garware Motors places in terms of volume. To overcome this, the two-wheeler company is coming out with two new launches: GT650 (no R here) and GT250R.

Garware Motors has entered a new segment with the launch of Hyosung motorcycles in India. The company has been doing decent numbers with the superbikes it sells but is now planning to further increase its market share.

Currently Garware Motors sells the Hyosung ST7 and the GT650R in India. Both these bikes offer tremendous value to the buyer with the ST7 drawing more attention than a Mercedes, Audi and BMW would do, combined.

Hyosung 650R

The GT650R on the other hand is a high revving monster and goes well with the company's tagline -- Go, Fly.

These two bikes, however, won't get Garware Motors the volume, thus they plan to launch two new machines, and very exciting ones at that.

The next bike to come from Garware Motors' stable is the GT650 (no R here).

The GT650 is based on its elder sibling the GT650R but lacks the full fairing. Instead the GT650 is more of a naked streetfighter motorcycle and will appeal to a lot of us in India.

While GT650's headlights are aggressiveand the power remains the same, it uses the same 650cc motor producing close to 72 bhp of power. What is more interesting is though, is the price.

Hyosung GT250R

The Hyosung GT250R is a 250cc machine, just like the Honda CBR250R and the Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

However the baby Hyosung features a twin-cylinder motor, unlike the single cylinder motor in the CBR250R.

Hyosung GT250R

The bike produces its power at relatively high RPMs and looks like a screamer. The looks of the GT250R are very similar to the GT650R, which is a very good thing. Seldom do you feel the GT250R is a 250cc bike.

We can expect Hyosung to aggressively price the GT250R around Rs 2 lakh when they start selling this quarter liter machine early next year.

Garware Motors has some exciting stuff for Indians. The company is very friendly and you can hop to any dealer, sit on the bikes, click pictures and take a test ride.

Never do the salesman stop you from doing anything and lets you experience the bikes. This is a fantastic approach. With promising service and expansion of dealership network on the cards, Garware Motors has indeed brought Hyosung home.
