Can it get better? Apparently it just did!
The legendary Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is all set to make a comeback in the market in a new colour. Dawned in Frost Green, the Bullet 500 will get a few styling changes as well as a larger capacity engine and improved brakes.
Apart from that, the new Bullet 500 will the silver and golden Royal Enfield emblem and a new backrest fitted on the grab handle for pillion riders.
As far as the engine of the new Bullet 500 is concerned, it will carry a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, twin spark, 499cc engine. Mated to a 5-speed transmission, the new engine will produce a peak output of 26.1bhp @5100rpm and a peak torque of 4.17kgm @3800rpm.
At the front, the bike will have a 90/90 x19-inch rubber tire and at the back ithas 120/80 18-inch tyre. A 280mm disc brake at the front and 153mm drum brake at the rear helps stop the bike.
At 193kg, the whole body of the Bullet 500 is held together by a one-piece downtube singular steel frame. The new Bullet 500 will have telescopic fork suspension at the front and the rear-wheels will have a gas powered shock absorbers.
No further specification of the Bullet 500 is available as of now. According to company sources, the bike will be launched in India soon, but information regarding price of the bike is still awaited. Stay tuned to Indian Drives for further information on this front.
