The Indian economy has started to look positive once again and Indian bike manufacturers are looking to launch interesting bikes in the country.
These include more powerful machines. Remember we will not talk about the price as it is speculative, however other than number three, all bikes will cost less than Rs 2 lakh.
So let's look at what bikes you could be riding by the end of the year.

Probably the most awaited bike of the year, the new R15 is said to borrow styling cues heavily from the R6. Already spotted a couple of times on test, the new R15 not only looks stunning from every angle, it is said to carry more horsepower as well.
Die-hard Yamaha fans have been waiting since January, but the bike will only be launched by July.

If any bike can make a person sell him for it, than it is undoubtedly the KTM Duke.
Launched in Europe last month, the Duke is an entry level KTM that heavily draws inspiration from its high-end superbikes.
In India, Bajaj will launch the Duke 200, which will not only be fast but look stunning as well.

The 600cc+ segment saw some action lately with the launch of the Hyosung superbikes but now it's Bajaj's time to cash in.
The company has already started teasers for the Ninja 650R, which should be priced around Rs 6 lakh. This means you would soon be riding a more powerful yet greener Ninja on Indian roads.

Although there is no confirmation on the launch of a much more powerful Apache bike, there have been speculations, expectations and what not.
We firmly believe TVS need to up their game and launch something more powerful otherwise they are bound to lose market share.
The Apache 250 will feature more power as well as higher equipment levels. We could see ABS featuring on the bike as standard.

Rajiv Bajaj had announced the arrival of the all-new Pulsar some time back. We expect the Pulsar series to have an all-new design, chassis as well as engines.
This would mean that a lot of parts would be shared with the KTM Duke. Certainly not a good thing.

After Honda launched the CBR250R, its Yamaha's turn to offer us a quarter litre machine though the Japanese maker is yet undecided if it would come with a 225cc or 250cc engine.
The company has confirmed the developments but there has been no information on which model. Many say the Scorpio would be the higher-powered Yamaha bike but we feel that Yamaha would plonk in a 250cc motor in a sports bike, which quite resembles the R15.
A Yamaha R25 would be born and the CBR250R won't be the most wanted bike anymore.

What do we even say? The name sounds quite funny but what is really funny is that the company had launched the Mojo last year, only to re-launch it this year.
Arriving in Diwali, the Mojo won't surely burst any crackers due to its name and funny looking design. However some unique people would opt for the Mojo, which is expected to be powered by a 300cc motor.
Cruising would be one strong point of the Mojo.
