Let's quickly get into what's new...
Hero MotoCorp launched the Karizma ZMR way back in 2009 and since then the company gave it a minor update in 2011, changing the colour of the instrument cluster's backlight to blue from light orange and giving the bike body coloured rear view mirrors.
Now in 2013, Hero has unveiled the biggest update to the Karizma ZMR, with the styling updates also reaching its younger sibling, the Karizma R.
The styling of the new Karizma ZMR sees heavy changes. The bike takes heavy influence from Erik Buell Racing's 1190 superbike.
In fact the front and rear are very similar. The front of the new ZMR sports twin headlights along with day time running lights right above the turn indicators.
The seat has been given the split treatment and the fairing gets graphics to reduce the visual bulk.
The company hasn't touched the instrument cluster which remains the same as before.
The Karizma ZMR gets a new rear section with a new tail light. Hero has also updated the tyres on the Karizma ZMR and the bike now comes with wider rubber.
The engine is the same 223cc, single-cylinder unit which belts out an increased torque of 19.7 Nm, against 18.35 Nm found on the old model.
Power figures haven't been disclosed yet but EBR has tweaked the mill so we can expect around 20 BHP of power.
The new Karizma ZMR is expected to be priced at around Rs 1.10 lakh when it goes on sale later this year.
