A vast leap over the Ninja 250R, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin engine and will come in two colours -- green and white
Kawasaki has launched the Ninja 300 in India, which replaces the Ninja 250R. The new Ninja 300 is brought in via the CKD route and is priced at Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi).
The Ninja 300 is a vast leap over the Ninja 250R.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin engine which produces 39 PS of power at 11,000 RPM and 27 Nm of torque at 10,000 RPM. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox which gets a slipper clutch, allowing aggressive downshifting.
The Ninja 300 is offered in two colours -- white and green. Kawasaki has allocated 500 units to India initially.
There is no ABS on offer, which is suprising considering the performance of this motorcycle.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 weighs 172 kgs and boasts of a 17-litre fuel tank, 5-step Uni-Track rear suspension and unique alloy wheels. It will be sold through Bajaj-KTM showrooms across the country.
