1. Paint job
The Classic 500 already looks very stunning but the Desert Storm colour makes it even more special. The sand paint gives it immense presence and onlookers gawk at you like no other.
Added to the desert colour is the chrome treatment in certain parts, giving the Classic an excellent eye candy look.
The Classic 500 has a very comfortable seat, which along with the excellent ride quality gives you a feeling of being the king of the road.
Bumps and undulations are not felt in the Classic 500 and rider comfort is supreme.
3. Performance
The Desert Storm features the same 500cc motor that does duty on the Classic 500. This engine produces 27.2 bhp of power and 41.3 nm of torque, giving the motorcycle ample cruising ability and a top speed of 130 km/h.
The torque rush is insane and the Desert Storm takes off with a twist of the throttle.
4. Stability
You might not feel a motorcycle like the Classic would be stable and glued to the road, but the Classic 500's 187 kgs weight and wide 120 section rear tyre helps it to be very stable at high speeds.
Out on the highway, cruising at 100 kmph is a breeze and doesn't feel uneasy to the rider.
5. Sound
The unit construction engine might not be close to the sound of the cast iron engine, but still the Classic 500 sounds way better than what the normal commuter bikes sound today.
The C500's exhaust is loud and as you accelerate, it only gets louder and better.
