Ducati Monster 795, a cheaper version of the 796, will soon be launched in India With prices expected to start around Rs 5,00,000.
On one side of the globe, there is the fear of recession, of the economy sinking. While on the other side of the globe (the Asia end), bike manufacturers are churning out one after another, better and more powerful bikes.
Say hello to the Ducati Monster 795, which has been specially developed for the Asian markets and will be sold in Asia only.
It has been launched in Malaysia and an India launch is on the anvil as well. So what exactly is this Monster all about?

Ducati has the Monster 796 in its line-up. But the Monster 795 is a cheaper version of the 796, which will help Ducati to target a larger audience.

The Monster 796 features a single swingarm, but the 795 features a double sided swingarm. The seat height on the Monster 795 is reduced with the tyres and alloy wheels being different to reduce cost of production.

Other than these minor changes to reduce costs, the Monster 795 uses the fantastic 803cc L-Twin, 2 valve per cylinder Desmodromic, air cooled engine which produces 85 hp of power and 78 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the Monster 795 will put a smile on the face of the rider, anywhere and everywhere.
