"Why do people ask me this question? It boils my blood," said Rhea Chakraborty when quizzed about the safety of women in India.

But the VJ-turned-actor, who walked the ramp at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017, didn't mince her words after that.

"I don't think girls are safe in India," she said. "I don't think they ever have been. [But] I really hope there will be a day when they are."
