Rediff reader Joseph, 30 from Mumbai shares his story.
Two years ago, Joseph had travelled to Kashmir with his wife Jisa, 26.
"I have been to Srinagar, Dal lake, Sonmarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam," he wrote in his e-mail.
"People are very kind and helpful. They respect their guests. Tourists are held in high regard," Joseph added.
