Okay, so you've just become a new mom.

Scratch that! You're a supermom.

You're not just taking care of your tiny tot, instead you're deciding her schedule, her food, her school and well in short you're managing another human being's life.

Everything's going great until your routine breaks, you miss nap time, she snacks on a chocolate not a fruit and suddenly your entire world seems like it's crashing.

Let's try to avoid that with these supermom certified 10 tips to keep your mojo in check and continue to be the supermom you truly are:

1. Share the load

Share your responsibilities with your family.

It's okay to miss nap time or take some time out for yourself.

Don't forget -- you might be a supermom, but you are still human.

2. Plan your day

Prepare a task list the night before to avoid any unwanted surprises and make sure everyone knows what's expected of them.

3. Centre your Chi by scheduling me-time

No matter how busy you are you NEED to do this.

It could be a few minutes of meditation in the morning, or (if you're like me) chips and nutella with 'friends' on, at night once the baby is asleep.

4. Exercise as often as you can

Exercise as often as you can

Honestly this is obvious. Not only will you lose those extra pounds we keep attributing to baby fat but it also helps boost your energy -- which, let’s face it we supermoms need tonnes of!

5. Don't skip meals

Don't skip meals

It's just going to work against you. No food = cranky you = no fun for anybody (especially you).

Eat healthy and break up your meals into multiple ones throughout the day if you’re trying to lose weight.

6. Go on date night with the mister once a week or at least twice a month

Go on a date night

You have to keep that fire burning. Not just that, it gives you a chance to get out of the house and have some fun. (Unless, of course, girls night is more your thing! *Wink*)

7. Keep in touch with your friends

Stay connected to the ones that make you feel alive.

There will be days when you'll look at yourself in the mirror and get shocked with who you've suddenly become -- they are there to bring you back to earth.

8. Stay occupied with different things

Stay occupied

If you're a working mom, don't lose focus on work (however guilty you might feel).

If not, find something to keep you inspired -- it could be learning a new language or reading a new book!

9. Nap whenever you can

Babies taught us one thing -- nap time is bliss.

Mini power naps help get you back on your game and ready to handle what seems like the longest day of your life.

10. Have rituals

It could be a night time ritual of sipping some warm green tea with a side of chocolate, curled up with your favorite book or just binging on some new shows -- do something that helps you reboot.

And, of course, do you need to be reminded of how insanely amazing you are?

Love yourself. You are a beautiful, strong, independent woman who has given birth to a gorgeous little baby.

Don't underestimate your capabilities. You can and will do it all.
