The Oxford Dictionary is revamped every three months and new additions and entries are included.
The latest additions include 1,200 new words and 1,000 revised entries.
Here is the list of 14 cool words from the latest update.
Cheeseball (n. and adj.): A person regarded as foolish or lacking taste.
Clicktivism (n.): The use of social media and other online methods to promote a cause.
Dahlesque (adj.): Resembling or characteristics of the work of Roald Dahl.
Filmi geet (n.): A type of popular music used in the soundtracks of the films produced by Bollywood.
Frightsome (adj.): Causing fright, something frightening or frightful.
Fuhgeddaboudit (int.): (forget about it) It is used to indicate a scenario which is unlikely or undesirable.
Human bean (n.): A humorous mispronunciation of a human being. The word was first mentioned in The Big Friendly Giant (1982).
Merica (n.): It is used to emphasise qualities that are stereo-typically American. It is a truncated form for America.
Moobs (n.): Man boobs or embarrassing male appendages.
Oompa Loomba (n.): A person appearing orange in colour from fake tanning. These words has been borrowed from the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Squee (n.): A high-pitched squealing sound.
Witching hour (n.): The time in the dead of the night when everybody is in a deep sleep, when it is believed that witches are in action. This phrase was first used in Shakespearean play Hamlet, where it is mentioned as the 'witching time of the night'.
Yogalates (n.): A combination of yoga and Pilates.
YOLO (abbr.): It's an acronym for you only live once. It's roots have been traced back to the Nineteenth Century.
