Tribal fashion designers from Manipur showed off their creations in Imphal.

Budding tribal fashion designers in Imphal, Manipur showcased the fusion of western designs and tribal outfits at an exquisite show. In a bid to promote the culture and traditions of Anal tribe, models sashayed the ramp, clad in traditional dresses phanek (Mekhla), a modern twist of Anal traditional attire with western dresses. Amid enthusiasm, models appreciated the efforts and said that the initiative would provide an impetus to the backward tribe.
