First up is this beautiful shot of the morning rays in a forest. "I took this shot of early morning rays of the rising sun streaming through tall trees in a forest, when I went for a morning walk in Manali,” says Sridhar Iyer from Rockville, MD, USA
This water beauty titled ‘Monsoon Morning - Lotus in a pond’ is shared by Manoj Nair from Ahmedabad.
Khushi Khan shares this golden sunset taken at the Madhav National Park in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh.
Fields of gold from Arayama Dutta Saikia, “A mustard field in Dehradun with a view of the Mussourie hills in the background,” he writes.
Here’s another picture from Sridhar Iyer taken on the way to Joshimat in Uttarakhand. “An unbelievable view of the road we travelled,” he says.
Aryama Dutta Saikia shares this picture of a parrot resting in a tree cavity on the grounds of the Agra Fort.
Here’s another photograph from Aryama of the Kempty Falls in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand that attracts thousands of visitors during the summers.
Ashim Chakravarty shares this picture of Lava, “a memorable weekend destination.”
Lava is a charming hamlet located about 34 km from Kalimgpong in West Bengal and is the entry point to the Neora Valley National Park, a bird-watchers paradise.
This photograph is from Tarun Sharma who says, “The bike needs cooling too. Shot at Shiroda beach at Goa-Maharashtra border, wonderful stretch of unadulterated beach.”
We close this edition with this photograph of a yummy wild fruit found in the foothills of the Himalayas.
“The pic was taken at Nainital (Uttarakhand). It is a local fruit named kafal and is found during the summer season only,” writes Kailash Ruwali from Indore.
