First up us this photograph of the Vani Vilasa Sagara Dam in Karnataka. Suman Kanal who shot this picture writes in: "It is the oldest dam in the state. The dam was built by the Mysore Maharajas across the river Vedavathi and is an exquisite piece of architecture, an engineering marvel of its time."

Finally, we have this image of The Coronation Bridge that spans across the River Teesta, connecting the districts of Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri. The bridge was named thus to commemorate the coronation of King George VI in 1937.
It is also referred to as Lohapul (or Iron Bridge) since it is made of steel. This picture was sent to us by Anand Mundhada.
