Ahead of Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday, we asked your favourite television stars to share their best fatherhood advice.
Fathers are special and will always be.
If daughters are close to their mothers, fathers share a special bond with their son -- a rare bond of friendship and love.
With Father's Day falling over the weekend, we caught up with a few television stars who are proud fathers themselves to tell us two things -- the one thing they wish their fathers had told them and the best fatherhood advice they'd like to share with readers.
We start off with Manav Gohil:
Manav Gohil
Actors Shweta Kawatra and Manav Gohil became parents to a daughter, Zahra born on 11 May 2012.
One thing I wish my father had told me: I wish my father had told me not to find my mother in the girl I fell in love with.
But I guess he was too much in love and learned it on my own.

One thing I wish my father had told me: There is nothing that I wish my father had told me because my father and I were like friends. We would discuss everything.
When I was young, he was quite strict. But as I became a teenager he became a friend to me and today we even sit and have a drink together.
The best fatherhood advice: When I used to argue with him and never give up he would tell me: Wait until you become a father and then you'll realise where I come from.
Now that I have become a father, when my four-year-old daughter argues with me, I have to keep quiet.
I now pass on the advice my father once gave me. I tell her: 'Wait until you become a mother (smiles)'.
My personal advice is be a friend to your kid, and at the same time let the kids know that you are the father also.
Kids just can’t take you for granted and love you as much or more than anyone else.
