British beauty retailers Xtras carried out a beauty poll recently and these are the results.
Xtras.co.uk asked British women to list up to five female celebrities whose hairstyles they liked the most and disliked. They were given a list of possible names and asked to additionally submit their own choices.
43 per cent of the women said that a celeb hairstyle had often inspired their own and 34 per cent were keen on getting dyed.
Meanwhile we begin with the ten worst celebrity hairstyles according to the poll by Xtras:
At the bottom of the worst list with 14 per cent votes is Anne Hathaway's hairstyle. Hathaway has gone through various stages with her hairstyle since she all but shaved her hair for Le Miserables.
Kristen Stewart ended ninth with 19 per cent votes. Interestingly, the Twilight Saga star also featured on People magazine's 'Bad Day' fashion list thanks to this 'balloony' jumpsuit she wore at the MET Gala.
Popstar Nicki Minaj came eighth with 25 per cent women giving her tresses two thumbs down.
She's made a comeback like no other singing star in the recent years, she was voted among the best-dressed women by People magazine and she has a body that makes us turn green in envy. But as it turns out at least 27 per cent British women don't seem to be impressed with Britney Spears' hairstyle. No, seriously we don't get it!
This one was a no-surprise. Lady Gaga ranked number six with 33 per cent votes… though we'd have imagined her to be a wee-bit higher up in this list.
The teenage TV star Courtney Stodden has never been particularly favourite with the public after marrying the 50-something actor Doug Hutchison so it wasn't entirely unpredictable for 36 per cent women to vote her hairstyle among the worst of the lost.
Model and television star Katie Price garnered 48 of the votes ending fourth in the list of the celebrities having the worst hairstyles.
Actress and television star Kelly Osbourne rounded up the top three list with 49 per cent votes for her lavender-coloured hair.
Model and actress Helen Flanagan may have a body made for sin but 51 per cent women didn't seem mighty pleased with her hairstyle. Flanagan was number two in the list of celebrities with the worst hairstyle.
Topping the list of the worst celebrity hairstyles was the twerking star Miley Cyrus who seems to be in the news for all the wrong reasons ever since her scandalous performance at the MTV VMA Awards recently.
Moving on to the best hairstyle list, we have Victoria Beckham who was at number 10 with 29 per cent women voting for her hairstyle.
British supermodel Cara Delevingne was voted ninth in the list of best celebrity hairstyles with 38 per cent votes.
New mom Kim Kardashian has a bod to boot AND those luscious locks are, as it seems, the envy of at least 42 per cent women who gave the reality TV star two thumbs up for her hairstyle.
Fashion world's original 'Body' Elle Macpherson ended seven with 46 per cent votes for her blonde locks.
Up only a few notches is popstar Beyonce Knowles whose hairstyle was voted over Macpherson and placed her at number six.
The 24-year-old R&B singer and songwriter Frankie Sandford rounded off the top five of celebrities with the best hairstyle with 54 per cent votes.
Model Kelly Brook who's been in-between relationships for sometime now came number four in the list of celebrities with the best hairstyle.
Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has been on every possible 'best' lists recently, so we weren't entirely surprised to see her on this one too.
Tennis star Andy Murray's girlfriend Kim Sears' blond tresses put her at number two in the list of best celebrity hairstyles.
Fresh from her breakup with Lewis Hamilton, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger topped the list of best celebrity hairstyles with 72 per cent votes.
