Here's looking at the top ten contestants at this year's Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Venezuela Gabriela Isler was crowned Miss Universe 2013 after beating 85 contestants across the globe.
25-year-old Isler, was so excited at being declared the winner that the tiara fell off her head when Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo of United States handed the tiara to her at the event watched by an audience of nearly a billion around the world.
With her victory, Isler becomes the third Venezuelan to win the pageant in the last six years -- Dayana Mendoza and Stefania Fernandez won in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
Miss Spain, Patricia Rodriguez was the first runner-up followed by Constanza Baez from Ecuador, Ariella Arida from the Philippines and Jakelyne Oliveira from Brazil.
Among the judges were Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, supermodel Anne Vyalitsyna, American model and actress Carol Alt, chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, Farouk Shami, founder of the hair-care and spa products company Farouk Systems and American figure skater Tara Lipinski.

Patricia Rodriguez was elected Miss Spain in 2008 but couldn't make it to the Miss Universe pageant back then because of the international organisation's legibility regulations requiring contestants to be 18 before February 1. That year first runner-up Claudia Moro represented her country.
Instead, Rodriguez competed at Miss World 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa and was one of the top 15 semi-finalists there.
On winning Miss Spain 2013, Rodriguez earned the right to represent her country and finished second at the pageant held in Moscow.
When she isn't making people weak in her knees and representing her country at international pageants, Miss Ecuador, Constanza Baez works as an economist and loves to play soccer.
Baez finished third at the Miss Universe pageant, the farthest any Ecuadorian has reached at the Miss Universe pageant.
Third runner-up Miss Philippines Ariella Arida was the only contestant among the final five who responded to the question posed to her in English.
Having graduated in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines Los Banos, Arida was one of the favourites to win the contest.
What's a beauty pageant without controversy right? This one involved Miss Brazil Jakelyne Oliveira and her fellow competitor Miss Philippines Ariella Arida.
It all started when a tweet went out from an account that was purportedly owned by Oliveira criticising Arida for some remarks she made.
Sure enough though, the matter was resolved when Oliveira pointed out that the account wasn't hers in the first place!
The two then went on to post a picture of themselves together, looking rather pleased with themselves.
Two years ago, Miss Great Britain Amy Willerton won the reality TV show Signed by Katie Price beating some 10,000 other aspiring young models. Then, she went on to turn down a contract with Price's talent management company to set out on her own.
Willerton stunned audiences in a bikini and offered a sexy take on royal robes dressed as a queen in the national costume round.
When she won the show, Willerton was promised a modelling contract and mentoring from Price besides a photograph on the cover of OK! magazine as well as Range Rover and a holiday in the Maldives.
However, she claimed to have received none of it even as the management company failed to find her work.
Amy Willerton was one of the top ten contestants at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant.
Born in Indore, Manasi Moghe (21) was crowned Miss Indian Diva 2013 only months ago. Moghe is pursuing a degree in engineering in electronics and telecommunication from Nagpur.
Even though she made it to the top ten, Moghe didn't break India's now 13-year-long dry spell at the Miss Universe contest.
The last Indian to have won the Miss Universe crown was Lara Dutta in 2000.
Still in her teens, Yaritza Reyes is studying to graduate in social communications at the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
In her spare time, she also works as a model and counts, acting, dancing and singing among her hobbies.
A finance graduate from the Central Connecticut State University, Erin Brady works as a financial accountant for Prudential Retirement when she isn't modelling.
Brady has also volunteered for several charitable causes and is engaged to be married.
She was set to get married on the day of the final round of the pageant held in Moscow but had to postpone it till she completes a year as the titleholder in accordance with the Miss USA rules.
Erin Brady was one of the top ten finalists at Miss Universe 2013.
Born and raised in a small town called Trostyanets in Ukraine, Olga Storozhenko is studying to be a teacher at the Vinnitsa State Pedagogical University.
As it happens she is also a director of a local charitable beauty contest and hopes to become an actress or a television presenter.
