We asked you, Dear Readers, to share your photographs and impressions about your favourite beaches in India.

Manish Kumar Ladha tells us why he feels that the Radhanagar beach in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is the best.

"It is clean, has white sand and is surrounded by greenery," says Manish.

Pradeep Kataria feels none of the beaches in mainland India match up to the ones in the Andaman islands.

"I have been to almost every well-known beach in India. And I can say that the beaches in the Andamans are way better and cleaner then the beaches in other parts in India."

"I have visited Corbyn's Cove, Wandoor, Chidiya Tapu, Bharatpur, Laxmanpur, Kala Patthar, Elephant and Radhanagar beaches in the Andamans."

"Undoubtedly, Radhanagar is the best beach to enjoy."

"When you are on the island, the mountain on the left and the long seashore on the right make it scenic. It is the best beach on Havelock Island and is easily accessible by regular ships and ferries from Port Blair."

Tell us! Which is the best Indian beach you have been to and why is it your favourite?
