How Bhunnu found love in Gopal Bele's home

June 15, 2019 08:00 IST

We asked you to share pics and stories of your furry companions.

This is what Gopal Bele, 54, from Hyderabad sharedYou can share your pics too!

Bhunnu -- as we fondly call our cat -- was born in our home.

Since then, it appears at our doorstep every morning.

It comes and waits at the door. The moment we open the door, it greet us with a lovely "meaw".

From its childhood till date, it comes to drink milk every morning and night. It roams in our compound throughout the day.

Bhunnu shows a variety of emotions when it is happy, sad or injured by other animals.

Somehow, over a period of time, we have started understanding its emotions and behave accordingly.

Bhunnu has a girlfriend called Blackie. When she appears at our doorstep, he wants us to give her milk too.

Sometimes he leaves some of his milk in the container for Blackie, which is a very sweet gesture.

He dislikes all the other cats and doesn't allow any cat to enter our premises.

Our son stays in Mumbai and to cope up with our loneliness, we find solace in Bhunnu's company.

You will not believe this, but on days that are important to us, he spends more time with us.
