IIM-Udaipur launches an MBA in digital enterprise management.
In a first, the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur, has launched a one-year masters in business administration programme in digital enterprise management.
The MBA is aimed at equipping managers and leaders to work efficiently in the fast-changing world of digital business enterprises, where conventional management concepts and leadership styles no longer apply.
A full-time residential programme, the MBA in DEM is open for admission through GMAT/GRE for working professionals who are graduates and have at least three years of work experience.
The first batch commences in 2020.
The first round of online applications began on September 7, 2019. While the academic fee for the programme has been fixed at Rs 15.8 lakhs, the lodging and boarding fees for the residential programme cost an additional Rs 2 lakhs.
The DEM programme will provide students with the opportunity to develop a working knowledge of emerging technologies as the course curriculum is prepared in consultation with industry experts.
IIM-Udaipur has set up an academic advisory board which has been given the responsibility of developing the MBA in DEM. The board includes founders of successful digital companies like Quikr's Pranay Chuley and Info Edge India Ltd's Hitesh Oberoi.
