Yogesh Rishipathak has visited several beaches in Konkan including the Devbagh (Malwan) beach, Chivla beach, Tarkarli beach, Karde beach and Harihareshwar.
"Murud (Dapoli) is a great option if you are looking for a quiet place to visit," says Yogesh. "The beach is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. I visited the beach with my family and stayed in a cottage close to the sea."
Yogesh warns us not to mistake this beach for the one at Murud-Janjira.
"Murud-Janjira and Murud are different places. Murud is situated close to Dapoli, which is the birthplace of the social reformer Maharshi <Dhondo Keshav) Karve."
