What: Delta Airlines has introduced a daily direct flight between Chennai and New York (John F Kennedy Airport), via Paris (Charles de Gaulle Airport).
The new service will be operated by a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, with a seating capacity of upto 204 passengers.
It has a two-class configuration, comprising Business Elite service and Economy Class.
Flight schedule
~ Flight 16 departs New York at 1810 hours and arrives in Paris at 0755 hours the following day.
~ Flight 16 departs Paris at 1110 hours and arrives in Chennai at 0045 hours the following day.
~ Flight 17 departs Chennai at 0245 hours and arrives in Paris at 0955 hours.
~ Flight 17 departs Paris at 1335 hours and arrives in New York at 1550 hours.
