What: The National School of Drama, New Delhi, invites applications from theatre artistes for posts of Artistes Grade A and Grade B in the Repertory Company.
~ The appointments will be on a consolidated salary slab of Rs 15,000 to 20,000 and Rs 10,000 to 15,000 per month, respectively.
~ In addition, they will be entitled to other benefits as permissible to the artistes of Repertory Company and TIE Company of National School of Drama.
~ The appointment is on a contract basis, initially for one year only, to be extended up to a maximum of five years on the basis of a periodic assessment.
Do you qualify?
~ You must be an NSD graduate or and equivalently recognised Theatre Training Institute, or with long experience in acting of repute.
~ You must have experience of acting in 10 renowned plays in Hindi and/ or any other Indian language.
~ You must be proficient in Hindi and your mother tongue.
~ You could have experience in directing plays/ stage craft work.
~ You could have knowledge of dance, music and allied arts/ acting theories and styles/ regional languages and dialects.
~ Preference will be given to NSD graduates.
~ Candidates who have completed their training during the academic year 2005-2006 can apply only for one-year apprenticeship and will be paid an allowance of Rs 8,000 per month.
