Harvard Business School announces four new programmes for India

Harvard Business School (HBS) will be offering four new Executive Education programmes for the first time in India. Read on to know more about the programmes.

What?

Harvard Business School (HBS) has announced seven Executive Education programmes for the year 2012. Among these, four programmes that will be offered for the first time in India include Launching New Ventures, Aligning Strategy and Execution, Leading Innovation and Leadership and Corporate Accountability.

In addition to the new programmes, other programmes include Managing and Transforming Professional Service Firms -- India, Building a Global Enterprise in India and Develop India -- Real Estate Strategies for Growth.

These courses will be conducted at the HBS India Research Center (IRC) in Mumbai.

Important dates:

Launching New Ventures -- India, will take place between June 11-14, 2012. This programme will help business leaders navigate through the risks and uncertainty associated with starting a new enterprise, as well as launching new business lines within an already established company.

The Aligning Strategy and Execution -- India programme scheduled for June 18-21, 2012 is designed to help executives gain a better understanding of their competitors and overall industry forces as they implement strategies that will position their business to be a strong global contender.

Leading Innovation – India, that will take place between August 20-23, 2012, focusses on providing business leaders with the tools to recognise opportunities in the Indian market for product and service innovation across a variety of industries.

The final new programme in India in 2012 will be Leadership and Corporate Accountability -- India, will be held on August 20-23, 2012. Participants will work to develop and embrace policies and practices focused on ethical responsibility and principled decision-making.
