Fashion icon and entrepreneur Ivanka Trump has announced that she'll step down from her management role at Ivanka Trump, her fashion brand started in 2007.

Turns out, father Donald Trump’s new role of the country’s president is the culprit.

‘When my father takes office as the 45th President of the United States of America, I will take a formal leave of absence from The Trump Organization and my eponymous apparel and accessories brand. I will no longer be involved with the management or operations of either company,’ the glam icon announced in a public post (external link) on her Facebook account.

Meanwhile, her husband, Jared Kushner is expected to be a senior advisor to President-elect Trump when he assumes office.

Does the strategic timing signal Ivanka’s inclusion in Trump's administration team?

We'll have to wait and watch!

Sadia Sisay is not a model. She is not a designer either.

In fact, she is a former nurse from Sierra Leone who used to treat cancer patients in London.

Once Sadia walked into a lingerie store and was taken aback when the sales assistant helped her with a 'nude bra' which was meant for white skinned people.

Determined, she quit her job in 2008, to launch Being U, her own line of lingerie that will embrace all skin colours and shapes.

She suffered set backs -- both personal (lost her husband) and professional (was turned down by investors) -- but has emerged a winner.

Her line starts at 28B and goes up to 44H.
