Why is PV Sindhu thanking this designer?

The world champion has a special connection with designer Shriya Bhupal.

PV Sindhu turned showstopper for designer Shriya Bhupal's autumn/winter collection 'Sanctuary' which was recently unveiled in Hyderabad.

After the show, the Indian shuttler took to Instagram to share pictures from the show and thanked the designer.

'Thank you @shriyabhupal! I remember I wore one from your collection right after the Olympics and now this one -- right after the World Championship. Absolutely loved being a part of this evening and your collection!' Sindhu wrote on Instagram. 

Sindhu looked stunning in a fuschia off shoulder ruffled blouse paired beautifully with a matching floral skirt.
