A skilled pianist, she can play the piano but in her spare time Royo likes to run, to read and to go skiing in the winter.
The newly crowned Miss World traditionally spends her winning year based in London and travelling the world representing the Miss World Organisation and its associated
causes and charities.
However, the ceremony was not without controversy as last month, the officials in Hong Kong stopped Miss Canada, Chinese-born Anastasia Lin, from boarding a plane bound for Sanya, refusing her a visa.
The first Miss World contest was held 64 years ago in Britain.
