Grand Finale: LMIFW runway bursts with colours

We haven't seen any show like this before!

FDCI Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week 2018 came to a close with a grand finale, which was a celebration of inclusivity and the scrapping of Section 377.

40 designers came together for the finale. Each designer dressed a model in an ensemble based on the rainbow theme.

Designers Shivan and Narresh plant a kiss on model Sony Kaur. 

 

Designers Debarghya and Navonil had something special on this occasion of Durga Pujo.

'(On) the celebration of good emerging triumphant over evil, we bring you the *Making Of A Warrior*,' they wrote on Instagram.

The design inspirations for this creation was boxers, super heroines and warriors of all shapes, sizes, colours and ethnicities.

 

Amit Aggarwal dressed his model in different shades of the rainbow. 'Love is the presence of acceptance and absence of judgement,' he wrote.

 

Manish Malhotra and his model colour-coordinated their looks.

 

Designer Reynu Taandon takes a bow, as her model looks on.  

 

Designer Vivek Karunakaran's model wears the rainbow with pride. 

'Was great to share space with all the super creative talented designers at the Rainbow Show Grand Finale at LMIFW,' wrote the designer on Instagram.

'Thank you #fdci for the opportunity! Loved creating this look. This one turned out to be soooooo much fun!!' he added. 

 

Raghavendra Rathore kept his creation dapper yet fun. 

 

Arjun Khanna went all out and made sure his model wore a #377 sash on his neck. 

 

Gaurav Gupta leads Anjali Lama, a transgender model, who was dressed in a Rainbow Sculpture Dress that lights up.

'Love makes light,' he titled this look.
