Last updated on: July 22, 2016 16:49 IST

Look how the runway dazzled when she posed for the cameras with elegance and poise.

The second day at India Couture Week 2016 experienced the undying love for colours and tradition with designers Anita Dongre and Tarun Tahiliani.

Marking her debut at this bridal extravaganza, Anita -- whose next line finds its inspiration in the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton -- showcased a collection 'Epic Love' for brides on the go with a touch of bohemian style.

Tarun's collection 'The Last Dance of the Courtesan' too offered ensembles for the contemporary diva with inspirations drawn from Indian courtesans.

Apart from the magnificent designs, it was Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar who truly captivated our hearts.

Diva Dhawan

IMAGE: Sporting a beige silver embroidered lehenga, model Diva Dhawan transported us to a luxurious Rajasthan palace, doesn't she?

Aishwarya Sushmita, Erica Packard

IMAGE: The designer's signature gota patti work breathed life onto the prints and how. It was spread all over the long jackets and cigarette pants. In between Aishwarya Sushmita (left) and Erica Packard's outfits, which one made the cut to your closet?

Kritika Babu

IMAGE: Kritika Babu's black cropped bridal top over a beige lehenga with red border took us back in time. We were reminded of women of yore who were not only beautiful but also valiant warriors.

IMAGE: Lightweight, easy-to-wear ensembles were the highlight of the collection! We couldn't take our eyes off these orange-red lehengas.

Kanishtha Dhankar

IMAGE: The designer brought a tribal twist to the traditional look and how. He added silver latkans (decorative hanging beads) on bridal crop tops and finished the look with pieces of crystal jewellery, just like this one donned by Kanishtha Dhankar.

IMAGE: Now that's an Umrao Jaan moment! Pulling off a ghoonghat, model Hemangi Parte painted a perfect portrait of a coy Indian bride.

Manjari Chaturvedi

IMAGE: Meanwhile Manjari Chaturvedi -- an acclaimed Sufi-Kathak dancer -- brought alive the inspiration behind the collection with her 'Darbari Kathak' dance. It emphasised on the rich legacy and the precious heritage of Indian courtesans.
