Born in New Delhi, she credits her family for her love for fashion.
'I remember being surrounded by beautiful textiles when I was growing up. I'm sure my love of fashion came from playing with all those colorful fabrics,' she said in an interview revealing that she comes from a family of garment manufacturers.
