Hot debuts! Watch out for these LFW models

Presenting six new faces who will make their debut this season.

Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018 is just a day away.

Touted as the biggest fashion event of the year, it brings together A-list designers and models.

It's here that some of India's sexiest models will walk the ramp. 

Like every other year, this year too there will models who will make their debut. Presenting 6 new faces to watch out for!

Rewati Chetri

Height: 5'8"

Hometown: Assam

Coming from a small town in Assam, Rewati has was one of the Top 10 finalists of Miss India 2015.

"I'm looking forward to the Lakme Fashion Week," she says.

"Most models have started their career with Lakme Fashion Week and have scaled new heights. I hope I can do the same too!" adds Rewati, who was a part of the LFW model auditions last year as well.

"I'm looking forward to walking the ramp for some top Indian designers. Can't wait to try their outfits!"

 

Priti Jana

Height: 5'8"

Hometown: Kolkata

Priti took part in the LFW model auditions last year, but got rejected. "I can't tell you how excited I'm to walk the ramp at LFW this year. I tried last year and I tripped on the ramp," she says.

The auditions this year weren't a cakewalk for Priti, who was made to walk the ramp 5-6 times before she got selected.

"I have been working as a model for a year, and I feel this opportunity is a great start for me to get noticed.

"I am a crazy Sabyasachi fan. I prefer Indian clothes and I'd be grateful to walk for any designer."

 

Nihali Dechka

Hometown: Bengaluru

Nihali moved to Mumbai from Bengaluru in June 2018, in the hope of making her mark as a model.

Lady luck was shinning on her and Nihali got selected to walk the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018.

"I'm really excited to walk the ramp at LFW. I think it is the perfect platform to start my career," she says.


Rishitha Koruturu

Height: 5'9"

Hometown: Hyderabad 

A Top Model semi-finalist, this engineer is the winner of Trends Miss Hyderabad 2017.

"I have done a lot of shows in Hyderabad. However, this is the first time I auditioned for a fashion week in Mumbai," says Rishitha.

"I'd love to walk the ramp for designers Shantanu and Nikhil," she adds.


Sharvi Bhujbal

Height: 5'11"

Hometown: Mumbai

An athlete, blogger and model, it was Sharvi's dream to walk the ramp at LFW.

"I didn't think I'd get selected," says the 22-year-old. "But I got selected and for me, it is a dream come true."

"I am looking forward to walk the ramp for designer Nivedita Saboo, because I feel her lehengas will fit my body type."


Mariana Falaschi 

Height: 6'1"

Country: Italy

"I wasn't expecting to get settled because over 200 girls participated for the model auditions," says Mariana, who landed in India a month before the auditions.

"Getting through these auditions has given me a chance to walk at Lakme Fashion Week. Post that I'm sure that bigger things will come my way."
